Born in Kealakekua, he was a Hawaiian cultural practitioner and employed by Hawaii Pacific Parks Association as a cultural demonstrator at Puuhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park, fisherman and member of Na Koa, Na Kalaiwa‘a, St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, Kona Iki Trollers Fishing Club and Wee Guys Fishing. Tripina Pio Labrador, 77, of Honokaa died April 23 at Hale Ho‘ola Hamakua in Honokaa. Born in Bantog, Asingan, Pangasinan, the Philippines, she worked on a Waimea strawberry farm. Services and committal in the Philippines at a later date. Survived by husband, Zacarias D.
